          1. David Gaskins: We have funds available for women in computing. We could use it to get a new computer, or buy some new software.
            1. David Gaskins: We can set up a development machine.
            2. David Gaskins: We need to figure out how to take advantage of the funding.
            3. Johnny: We can set up development machines like tablets or phones. Software can be a good idea as well.
            4. David Gaskins: We can use it to pay for dev licenses. The funding should be focused on women in computing.
            5. David Gaskins: ACM-W should come up with a fundamental wishlist. We can talk about it next week.
            6. David Gaskins: We can create a workshop around whatever we are spending the money on, and then givng a presentation about what we did would be a huge boost for whoever is giving us the money to continue contributing.

        1. Christopher Gomez: David Martel is printing this. He should have it printed out this week.

        3. David Gaskins: We could sell scantrons.
          1. Johnny: The outpost sells them, as well as SHPE.
      2. Fliers
        1. Johnny: We need a better job for outreach. David posted what we wanted to do for our first meeting. We need to create a new design for the next flier, by the next meeting.
      3. First workshop next weekend
        1. Johnny: What kind of workshop can we do individually?
          1. David Gaskins: We can have a virtual machine install workshop on linux, using virtual box. We can have one person install an .iso on their flashdrive and pass it around. We can do something during the time that the software is installing.
            1. Johnny: We can have them learn to install linux rather than virutal box. We can then tell them about the importance of linux.
          2. Johnny: We are planning for a Linux Virtual Box workshop on Saturday, October 6th. We are going to check if it is feasible.
            1. Karen: ACM-W needs to check if the word can get out.
      4. ACM Hangout Nights
        1. Johnny: This is loosely planned and not officially set. The idea is to have a time where some people can get together and hangout and work. The time is to be determined.
        2. Johnny: This event is tentatively set to Fridays at 4 pm.
        3. Johnny: We could do fliers for this.
        4. David Gaskins: We should focus on other things at first. Once we get things going, then we can start up the hangouts. We can start them in October.

        2. Johnny: We have to manage the ACM webstore. We have to take care of the documents. We have to make sure that we can manage the minutes.

      7. Programming Team

        1. Johnny: Registration open for SoCal contest. We are not going to register until we have all the teams. It is going to be the same place, which is in Riverside.
        2. Johnny: We need to get the hotels reserved.
        3. Johnny: Try-outs might be in mid October.
      8. IEEExtreme programming competition
        1. Johnny: We should investigate this to see if we want to do this.
      9. Who is managing the Facebook?
        1. Shane Satterfield: Brett might still be managing it. I will give everyone access to the facebook.
