      1. Git Workshop
        1. This is on Wednesday, March 13th in ECS-407 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
        2. Ian: David and Julia are working on this workshop.
        3. Ian: There will be a live presentation as well as a slide show.
      2. Engineering Women at the Beach
        1. Ian: ACM-W is looking for volunteers to help with this workshop. This will be on Friday, March 15th.
        2. Ian: If you are intersted, contact chair@csulbwic.acm.org
      3. Mobile App competition
        1. Ian: We will be holding this hack-a-thon. There will be a theme and you will have to develop a mobile app for this competition.
        2. Ian: You will submit to a git repository. We will then go over it during the meeting.
        3. Ian: If you win, you can get a license paid by ACM. We might not be paying for Apple licenses though.
        4. Ian: If you want to hit big, Windows 8 is a great place for that. There's lots of room to grow there.

    5. Guest Introductions
      1. Patrick, computer science. I am interested in GUIs.
      2. Henry, business major. I am interested in ACM because my business will deal a lot with computer software.
        1. Henry: I need to transition my program to a new platform. I would like someone to help me with this.
        2. Henry: This will be a paid internship, or scholarship.

          1. Ian: I am starting a project that involves voice recognition software. I will be developing this on the raspberry pi. If you want to learn this kind of stuff, then contact me.
